More useful than I was expecting
My age is beginning to take a toll on my sight. Recently putting together a monstros swingset this came in very handy for reading the directions and measuring hardware. Good quality and more handy than you would imagine.

Magnify...Not so Much
It doesn't magnify enough for me to see anything better. However, I do love that it is clear. Use it all of the time.

Great for parsing documents
Okay, it's a ruler; we all use them at least occasionally. It is clear plastic so I can see both sides of the edge, unlike wooden rulers. The edge is not bumpy like dollar store rulers. And...
It has a magnifying strip the length of the ruler. My wife keeps one in her office, and I have one in my briefcase. It is much better than a magnifying glass for reading small print documents, as you can keep track of what line you are on as you scan.

Ruler Makes a Mountain Out Of A Mole Hill!
Was anxious to try this ruler out. Very handy for scanning down the page of old documents in my book store. Have used for research in books and collectable cards as well. Will not replace a magnifying glass, but works well for it's purpose. Disappointed by the depth of the magnifier/grip. Not really tall enough to grip. Either change the slant of the magnifier/grip or make it of a size for easier grip.

Something I didn’t even know I needed.
I’m always in need of rulers and have them everywhere. When I saw this one with a magnifying aspect I was curious and really couldn’t wait to give it a try. It’s perfect for making sure all the measurements are right and going over the fine prints. It’s the perfect combination.

Handy
A ruler is always handy on your desk. This one has double duty as a magnifier which makes it all the more handy on your desk. The shape and the way you wish to magnify something may take a little getting used to, but for a quick magnification of a line of type it is great.

When "Close Enough" is Not Good Enough.
I am laying out plans for a new shed using pencil and paper. I like this ruler because I can see exactly where lines meet. The ruler does not get in the way. It magnifies small details and the finger ridge makes it easy to hold onto without smudging my drawings.
