Quite a Lion
The king of the jungle comes to your classroom with a simple paper-plate project.
Materials:
- Westcott 5" Kids scissors
- paper plate
- yellow and orange construction paper
- crayons
- glue

Step 1
Cut yellow and orange paper into strips. Then spread glue along the inside edge of the plate and use the paper strips to make a lion\\\'s mane.
Step 2
Cut a large diamond (head) and two circles (ears) from yellow paper. Glue them onto the plate.
Step 3
Use the crayon to add other facial details.
Adult supervision is recommended when children use scissors.
