These pleasant pumpkins make for a great seasonal science display!
- Westcott 5” Kids scissors
- 4 pieces orange construction paper
- green paper scraps
Brought to you by Westcott – The World’s Favorite Scissors
Fold a piece of orange paper in half. Draw a half-pumpkin shape on the paper, making sure the middle of the pumpkin is along the fold. Cut out the pumpkin.
Fold each remaining orange piece of paper in half and use the pumpkin cutout as a template to make three more pumpkins. On each pumpkin cutout, write a fact or descriptive word about pumpkins.
To assemble the pumpkin, spread glue along the outside surface of a folded cutout. Then align a second cutout on top of the glue. Spread glue on this cutout in a similar manner and continue the process until all the cutouts are attached. Cut a stem and leaves from the green paper scraps and glue them to the top of the project.
Adult supervision is recommended when children use scissors.
