Best little glue gun I've used
What a great little glue gun. Over the years I used full size glue guns but I always wanted the convenience of the smaller sized ones. It just seemed that the small ones were always tipping over when you set them down. The Westcott Mini Hot Glue Gun is heavy enough and well-balanced so that it stays where you put it. I was particularly impressed with the way the glue feeds into the gun---it's very smooth and you don't have to constantly pump the handle to keep the flow of glue going. I was very pleased with my finished projects---no excess glue and very strong bonds! Thanks for a quality product!

Glue Gun... RED hot & Ready
I loved this glue gun. It is small & light and is able to get the job done. The plastic stand that folds out is so much better than any other wire one that I have used. It takes a lot more to knock it over than in my previous glue guns. It took about 30 seconds for this glue gun to warm up. I loved the blue tip that turns red when it is ready. That is definitely a HUGE plus for this glue gun. As with all glue guns, there is always glue that continues to come out of the end of the tip. After I was finished using the glue gun, I wanted to get rid of this excess glue before storing. I was a bit surprised to see after wiping all this excess that it left a red marking on my paper. Overall, this was an easy gun to use and I'm so glad that I have it!

Your Hands Will Love It!
Ok. Most hot glue guns I have used all work basically the same way, but this one stands out! It is very hand friendly. When I saw the way it was shaped at first, I was skeptical that it would be at all easy to use. Boy, was I wrong about that! I LOVE the shape of this glue gun! Easy to "aim" at where you want it to go, and the glue melts and feeds smoothly and effortlessly. You don't have to squeeze like you're trying to crush something. The extra stick holder is also a plus. You don't have to stop mid glue to grab another glue stick. One of the best glue guns I've ever used.

Cool new features!
The new features on this glue gun are amazing! I love the extra large trigger and being able to lay it on its side with no worries! How has no one ever thought of the non-stick gun tip. There was literally a fraction of the threads (glue hairs) flying around my project space and the fact that it was non-stick saved so much time! I also adore the color-changing tip! No more guessing! I have always recommended Westcott products and will continue to do so! Keep up the innovations!

Westcott Premium Mini Hot Glue Gun
This came with 2 glue sticks. It heated up and was ready in about 6 minutes. The tip of the glue gun turns from blue to red when hot. I found it to be comfortable in my hand. It has a sufficiently long cord. It also has a little stand attached for when you have to set it down. The glue came out in a nice even steady flow. Stuck really well also.

Great tool for anyone who does Crafts!
I received this product, without cost, to test and review for my honest opinion. This is a very good High Temp Hot Glue Gun. I used this to put together some flower arrangements for a party. The glue is very hot! The gun heats up quickly. The trigger advances the glue with ease. I also used this to repair a statue that our cat knocked over. The glue dries clear and can not be seen. I really like this Hot Glue Gun. The refills are also easy to find when I need more. I like the "mini" glue sticks because sometimes you only need a little hot glue and the "mini" glue sticks allow you to control where it goes easier. This is a good tool for any crafter! And the design on the outside makes it easy to tell which is mine, when working with others. I really like it!

Fun color design & Color change heated tip
I love the cool design of my glue gun that reminds me of the ocean. This glue gun took a bit of a learning curve (the reason I took off a star). The gun takes a whole mini glue stick, but I couldn't push it all the way in until it heated up. At that point, I couldn't get any glue to come out. I pushed the glue stick in as far as I could and then needed another to push it in the rest of the way. Then it heated up the glue and worked well. I realky love that the tip turns red to indicate that it is ready to use.

Hot Glue Gun
This mini hot glue gun is the perfect size for my crafting tote. It is easy to use even with my arthritic hands. It feels comfortable in my hand & trigger is easy to pull to dispense hot glue. This is a great tool to have & I recommend you get one for your tool bag. Don't be caught without it!

I can't figure out how to put in a new glue stick. How is the old empty removed? I just bought the mini glue gun at Walmart last week. I'm ready to return it already.

How many watts is this high temp glue gun?

Does it matter which glue sticks you use in a high temperature glue gun? In other words, are some glue sticks made for high temps and some for low? Or are they all the same? . Thanks.
It is recommended to use the 16837 all temperature glue sticks with this glue gun for best performance.
