Surprised with the strength of the cutting power!!
Great little tool to have ready for opening packages. We have found that the ceramic knife blade is great alternative to a traditional box cutter. Having cut my self many times opening plastic packaging, this little gem is a great addition to any household.

Awesome Utility knife!!
I was surprisingly very pleased with this ceramic utility knife! It cuts amazingly good and not a razor blade type knife but a ceramic blade with a safety feature. I like the size of the utility knife fits perfectly in my hand not bulking at all or heavy!

Safe Cutter!
I love this cutter. It is really nice to use around the house for opening packages and stuff. I like that it is ceramic banded for safety. Also the way the edge is, you can not cut yourself with this product. It seems very safe to use, yet still durable

Great knife!
Nice, and compact. The knife is of good quality build. It does not feel flimsy or breakable during use. So far, it has cut everything that I need it to plus some. Normally just use it to cut cardboard but would not hesitate to cut more delicate papers.

Very sharp blade ! Personally I like a tool with a larger handle so as to get a better grip. This tool works well on thinner cardboard and cardstock but not so well on thick cardboard. I would prefer to have a longer blade that can be locked in place.

Great cutting tool!
I was skeptical about this little cutter, but it slices right through taped boxes like butter! I like that the the ceramic blade is always retracted unless I have my thumb on it, so I don’t have to worry that I’ve left the sharp edge sticking out.

great cutting blade
I have wanted a safe box cutter for quite awhile. Ones I have purchased in the past are quite flimsy. This one is definitely not. It is very comfortable to hold and the blade does an amazing job. It totally retracts which is good safety feature.

This Westcott Ceramic Safety Knife is pretty cool. I love the color of the knife it's one of my favs. The knife cut pretty good. It is very safety aware. I would recommend this knife to someone is just starting out with using this kind of knife.

Perfect for small craft projects
This cutter is perfect for small craft projects. It’s not bulky and heavy like some of the other box cutters out there. This size is perfect for the older students to use in our school maker space. They use it to cut small cardboard and foam.

This ceramic cutter works great it's the sharp and as much safer than using paste is a steel blade. It is perfect for cutting cardboard boxes without worrying about the blade cutting you by mistake. It is a good product at a good price.

A nice smaller Safety Knife to have around. Smell enough for the kids to use when helping with crafts, but confrontable for adult hand to use on projects too. I like the color, it makes it easy to spot when you have your tools laid out.

I did not expect this ceramic cutter to be any good. I was sadly mistaken, it is a gem. Not only did it slice through cardboard with ease but I was able to use it on two other craft projects involving vinyl and plastic. It’s a keeper.

Game changer!
This little tool is the best discovery of the year for me! It won't cut your fingers but it is ruthless with the packaging tape! It's non stick so the tape won't stick to it! Awesome! I'm buying more as soon as it's back in stock!

The retractable blade is great safety feature. The ceramic blade cuts through boxes with ease. Keep the slider pushed down to use, if drop it or fumble, the ceramic blade automatically retracts, limiting risk of accidental cuts.

This safety knife should be in every tool box!
The Westport Ceramic Safety knife is a nice alternative to the traditional metal blade. The ceramic blade will not rust, stays sharp and it easily sides to the retracted position after use. It’s size and handle of easy to hold.

This is the best kept secret! I have been avoiding using this type of utility knife for fear of being cut. This is the perfect knife! It is not only sharpe, I do not have to worry about cutting myself with the ceramic blade.

I do order a lot of products online , when packages arrive , I use this utility knife to open them , i like the auto retractable blade , thus from accidently cutting myself . once the blade gets dull , I reverse the blade .

Absolute must have for any house.
This is an absolute must have for any household. If you receive an inordinate amount of packages from FedEx and UPS like we do than this product must be in your drawer. It’s the first thing we grab when a package arrives.
