Westcott iPoint Ball Battery Pencil Sharpener
This pencil sharpener is easy to use, doesn’t take up much space and works well. Just stick the pencil in the hole and in a few seconds it’s sharp. What I like best about this sharpener is that it sharpens evenly. I’ve had other ones that sharpen more on one side than the other. This one gives a nice symmetrical cut.

I was very happy to receive this compact pencil sharpener. I do not have a student pencil sharpener in my classroom and sometimes it becomes a task to sharpen so many pencils with my own. My students absolutely loved this apple sharpener. It was so much more exciting for them that a regular sharpener. We all liked the fact that it sharpened smoothly and quickly. The noise level wasn't too bad either. I appreciated the fact that I could move it easily when I needed to monitor its use.

Give to a teacher you love
Great sharpener, this a very cool looking sharpener I have it to my wife who is a school teacher, it looks like a rosy red apple so she appreciates the aesthetic.
Of course it also needs to work well too, and this is a powerful little machine, and leaves a perfect point in your pencil every time.

Great little sharpener! This is the perfect desktop pencil sharpener. I originally got this for my classroom, but I decided to bring it home to use in my home office instead. It is nice that it is more compact than a normal larger plug in sharpener, and I can hide it away in a drawer if I want.

I love this little ball sharpener!
This is a great little pencil sharpener from Westcott. My kids use it all the time for their school and craft projects and it is pretty powerful for such a small product. It sharpens pencils with a nice sharp point each and every time and it is easy to remove the shavings from the container.

Cute and convenient
So I was really skeptical of this pencil sharpener. I did not think it would work very well but I was proven wrong. It works great. It sharpens to a fine point and it sharpens quick. It's safe for my 6-year-old granddaughter to use without supervision. This is a great product to have.

The iPoint Ball Battery Pencil Sharp is a good size that fits in small places. It is sharpens fairly well but sometimes the pencil sticks when sharpening. Also, it runs on AA batteries but it takes 4 which I feel is too many. Overall I like the look and style and it does sharpen well.

So many pencil sharpeners just tear up the pencil or over-sharpen which then breaks the lead. This little sharpener does the job perfectly. No need to press down hard on the pencil. Just put in the pencil and let this sharpener do it's thing. It creates a perfect point every time.

Great Power!
I LOVE this pencil sharpener! It's small and easy to tuck away out of sight until it's needed. It has a ton of power for a battery-powered device, and sharpens pencils to a nice point, not too sharp, not too dull. This is the perfect device to keep close to our homework workspace.

Sharpens quickly and neatly. Is very powerful for a battery powered machine. Is almost too much power. I really have to grip the pencil hard for it not to be spun out of my fingers. Is easy to empty and the points on my pencils were super sharp. Am really happy with this product.

Quickly gets the job done!
At first, I was frustrated because it was barely sharpening a brand new pencil. Then I realized I needed to hold the pencil still and it sharpened it from brand new to sharp point in less than 5 seconds! Fantastic sharpener! It will have a prominent spit on my desk at school.

Decent Sharpener
This works pretty good for the standard lead and color pencils that my kids use for homework and art time. Sometimes the point wasn’t super sharpe or it seemed to need extra time to get it sharp, but overall it worked well for the value. And my young kids found it easy to use.

This is a nice compact pencil sharpener. Plenty powerful and stores easily. I have two of these and couldn’t be happier with them. They would be ideal for a kid to keep in a desk, but durable enough that a teacher could keep on theirs and allow all of their students to use it.

Battery powered pencil sharpener
This Battery powered pencil sharpener is great, I work out of my truck, and this compact sharpener fits in the glove box. There is zero stress with this product, I usually have to use a pocket knife to sharpen my pencil. This pencil sharpener has made my life a lot easier.

Great size and not too loud!
Great size and not too loud! I gave four stars rather than five because I have tried several pencil types, and many break easily, causing the need to pick the broken lead out of the blades. The shavings holder contains quite a large supply before needing to be emptied.

Sharpened pencils like a champ.
Sharpened pencils like a champ. The smoothed tipped pencils sharpened really fast. We had some older wood pencils that are not smooth and hard to keep a point. This works great on them. I love that you can take it with you, and its still powerful with battery.

This little sharpener works great. It is so easy to use and is very quiet. It is also easy to empty. It is about the size of an apple. You don't have to press down when you put your pencil in to be sharpened, just gently set in in there and let it perform.

Let's Get Right to the Point
Received item is a timely manner and have used it once or twice. Seems to have a powerful, for its size motor, which results in a quick sharpening to a nice point. Not sure yet about battery life as I haven't used too often. All in all it's a god product.

I enjoyed this little sharpener. It was great on my teacher's desk at school. It works well for me to quickly sharpener pencils or colored pencils as needed. It has batteries and that is helpful as my teacher's desk is not close to a plug for the wall.

This battery-powered pencil sharpener feels sturdy has weight to it. The strong blades effectively sharpen pencils. It opens where the two colors meet to allow cleaning and dumping of the pencil shavings. The batteries have lasted a long time so far.

What an awesome little battery run sharpener. With a middle school student in the house we needed this sharper. It is portable and makes a very sharp point. Student likes being able to move it around the house wherever she needs a sharp pencil

Can parts (blades) be purchased for the ipoint ball pencil sharpener. I know that it is a relatively inexpensive item however everything is priced double or more in Bermuda, where I reside. I would like to know how I can purchase replacement parts.

How do the batteries go in. Does a plus sign mean that the plus on the battery is up?
The plus indicates the positive side of the battery and the minus side indicates the negative (flat) side of the battery.

Hi Westcott, it was good for the first 50 pencils. But then i found the pencil tip cannot be sharpened. I have replaced the batteries but it's still the same. How do you suggest to revamp it as good as before? Thanks!
