Pencil sharp
This pencil sharpener works great. You can keep it close due to the fact that it is battery operated. It does a great job of sharpening, it is fast and dows not make a lot of noise. It is a great chose if you are looking for a portable sharpener.

Great Pencil Sharpener
The Westcott iPoint Ball pencil shapener works great. When I sharpened some pencils for school it worked very well. The pencils sharpened very easy and had a nice point on them. I also like that it is battery powered so I can use it anywhere.

Get to the point !
Nice compact design. Installed batteries and gave it a "whirl". Sharpened every pencil I could round up. The sharpener worked well and quickly put a clean point on all the pencils. Will keep this on the desk of my wife's work from home office

Great easy to use pencil sharpener, sharpens the pencil perfectly each time. No need to plug into use this sharpener, it uses 4 AA batteries which is not included. This sharpener is compact so can easily fit in a bookbag for school or work.

Cute to sit on a teachers desk or anyone in the educational field as it looks like an apple. I don't normally go for round items on shelves or desk but this is changing my mind. It is easy to use & gives a nice point on your pencil.

Nice compact battery operated pencil sharpener. Not too loud. Sharp blades. Took a new pencil from flat to super sharp in very short amount of time. I still use and traditional wooden pencils daily. (search Japanese writing pencils)

I use this in my classroom all the time. It is very handy to use because it is battery powered. It can be moved to wherever it is needed. I even let my students use it to sharpen their pencils. I also works great on colored pencils.

Quick and stays sharp
Nice compact design. I initially had this sharpener in my shed for occasional use, but after a few uses, i was so impressed with it i decided to put it on my sons homework desk. It sharpens quickly and cleanup is quick. He loves it.

The iPoint Ball by Wescott is a small unique shaped battery operated sharpener.( Looks like an apple)It is just the right size and doesn't take up a lot of room on my desk. It gets the job done, giving the pencils a sharp point!

Nice compact sharpener. It works well but I don't know how long batteries will last with continuous use. The sharpener should have batteries included. It advertises for home or office but I think this is more suitable for home.

I have tried multiple battery operated pencil sharpeners in the last several years and this is by far the best. It has just enough power to sharpen a pencil effectively. Emptying it out isn’t the easiest but none of them are.

Great little pencil sharpener to have on your work desk. The base is not heavy enough, so you'll need to hold it while sharpening. Empty out the shavings over a trashcan. Its battery operated so keep extra batteries on hand.

Impressive Little Sharpener
I was very impressed with this little sharpener. I have to say I had doubts when I saw it but after I put in the 4 AA batteries, I put the pencil in it and it ran right away and did a fantastic job of sharpening the pencil.

Perfect Size

Can parts (blades) be purchased for the ipoint ball pencil sharpener. I know that it is a relatively inexpensive item however everything is priced double or more in Bermuda, where I reside. I would like to know how I can purchase replacement parts.

How do the batteries go in. Does a plus sign mean that the plus on the battery is up?
The plus indicates the positive side of the battery and the minus side indicates the negative (flat) side of the battery.

Hi Westcott, it was good for the first 50 pencils. But then i found the pencil tip cannot be sharpened. I have replaced the batteries but it's still the same. How do you suggest to revamp it as good as before? Thanks!
