The Only Pair Of Scissors You'll Need
To be completely honest, I didn't expect a whole lot from these scissors when I began using them. They felt a little light in my hands and I was worried that they wouldn't be durable enough. Boy was I wrong. Not only does the soft rubber grip make these some of the most comfortable scissors I've ever used, but the non-stick blades are amazing, cutting through pretty much any kind of tape without getting stuck with residue. And as a bonus, they also cut through fabric really well. My only complaint is that the packaging states that the scissors have an "adjustable pivot for blade tension," but I couldn't even find what they were talking about.

These scissors cut!
I am left-handed. I grew up using scissors that bent paper rather than cut it. Confused? You must be right-handed. Southpaws know what I am talking about. One employer even provided me with a pair of left-handed scissors - a pricey solution. These Westcott Titanium scissors work every bit as well for left-handed cutting, and have a way more comfortable grip. I have two pairs: one is non-stick that I use for wrapping (think tape), and the other for everything else, except kitchen. I don't use either on food, because I can't unhook them and put them in the dishwasher like my special kitchen shears. My wife is right-handed and gets the same excellent results as I do.

Best Ruler For Middle School Kids!
I'm a technology education teacher that uses technical drawing to teach engineering to sixth, seventh and eighth graders. We LOVE Westcott's Non-Shatter Rulers! Every year I search for the best rulers since 800+ kids use the rulers in my classroom a year! The hard plastic rulers break, wood rulers are too expensive. Most plastic flexible rulers (from other companies) either warp over time, or the printed numbers and ruler lines wear off. The Westcott brand rulers are simply the best. Case in point, I wouldn't be here writing this otherwise! I am planning on order a couple hundred for next years classes. For now, I will keep the one that I have for my own use with the students.

Okay Classroom Sharpener
I bought this pencil sharpener for my classroom. I teach middle school, about 137 students. I needed something that could stand up to several students sharpening their pencils over and over again every 45 minutes. So far (about 20 days) the sharpener has done well. When I first got it I had to laugh because I was expecting something much bigger. It is very tiny, but that is okay because it takes up just a small spot in the classroom. WARNING: This thing is VERY NOISY. I have no idea how something so small makes so much noise, but it is practically impossible to teach over the sharpening of pencils.

LOOK, No Blisters or Crams !
Comfortable scissors for small hands without the hard edges of handles to cause blisters or cramps from straining to cut various materials. Also, great for special
needs children with fine motor strengthening deficits.
Recommend using them with watchful supervisory eyes limiting the time that small hands are using this tool. Little folks don't always know when to stop and push the envelope to keep on doing their activity till their hands hurt. . . I would recommend the Westcott scissors with gel handles if the small hands are obsessed with timeless usage of scissors as they are more comfortable.

Perfect Office Scissors
These scissors are great for crafts that have any sort of adhesive or tape on them. We use these for decoupage and scrap-booking, and the non-stick surface really works. I would definitely call these medium-duty scissors, but they're perfect for what they are intended to cut.
Although it's not stated, these scissors seem to work as well left-handed as right-handed. My son was cutting poster board for a school project and I saw that he was using this pair - it's just that he is left-handed. When I asked, he said that they work better than the LH ones we bought for him!

Looks like an apple!
This smart looking pencil sharpener is held easily in one's hand, and after putting in 4 double AA batteries, I inserted a small color pencil that needed sharpening. The I-point Ball sharpener definitely sharpened the pencil, not quickly but steadily and gave the pencil a nice point. The I-point is not as fast as some of Westcott's other pencil sharpeners, but the advantage is that it is not heavy and quite portable. It is easily carry able in a backpack and is quite convenient. For someone who wants a portable powered pencil sharpener, the I-Point Ball sharpener is a good solution.

Super Slick Scissors!
I used these scissors with my kids to cut out shapes in heavy duty cardboard to decorate their playhouse. I could not believe how easily they cut through thick card board. Then when I began cutting paper it was effortless. And the fact that tape didn't stick to them as I sliced through old duct tape on the cardboard was fantastic.
I immediately thought of my 90 year old grandmother and how she would so appreciate the ease of use with these scissors when she is wrapping presents over the holidays. Guess I'll have to order her a pair too!

Can parts (blades) be purchased for the ipoint ball pencil sharpener. I know that it is a relatively inexpensive item however everything is priced double or more in Bermuda, where I reside. I would like to know how I can purchase replacement parts.
Replacement blades are not available in the US due to safety reasons.

Why is a warning that tcontain cáncer chemicals?
The State of California requires consumer product warning labels be placed on products with a chemical on a special California list. This list is known as the California Proposition 65 list. The chemicals on the list were placed on the list after a group of California appointed reviewers evaluated cancer data on the chemicals. Other scientists may or may not agree with the inclusion of some of the chemicals on the list.
Sine Westcott products are sold in California, we must add a warning label for any of our products which contain any of these chemicals.
