Works Great
I picked this up from Costco about two years ago. I have school aged children who write with pencil all the time. It sharpens the pencils without any issue. I love the auto shut off so they kids don’t over sharp the pencils and waste them away.

Is it ok for sharpening coloured pencils?
We recommend using manual pencil sharpeners for colored pencils. The waxy build-up can lead to dull blades that can't be replaced.

My ipoint Halo Sharpener will not stop running and will not sharpen pencils while it runs. It will shut off when I remove the clear cover around the blades or pull the plug.
