Tough and reliable
Bought to use in first grade. Can't think of a bigger challenge for a pencil sharpener. Used daily by rough little hands that sometimes would sharpen a new pencil down to a nub. Easy to clean. Don't neglect emptying because if the shaving get caught in the grinder there isn't a way to get them out. Very pleased though that I've found a sharpener that lasts, sharpens evenly, is very quiet, and is powerful.

Blades dulled very quickly
This was an excellent sharpener for one year. The cutting blades quickly became dull and became non-functional. Only #2 pencils were sharpened with it.

Most Amazing Sharpener Ever
I thought that this Pencil Sharpener was expensive, but was SO worth it! I would highly recommend this to anyone buying a new pencil sharpener.

The plastic gear collar that the cutter gear meshes with is totally warn out. The teeth are cut down and flattened. The pencil sharpener no longer works. Can you provide a replacement part number for the plastic gear collar? Can't buy a $50 new sharper.

How do I remove a tip stuck in sharpener? I have tried banging it and it will not come loose.

Is there a replacement motor? My sharpener still sharpens well, but takes a long time now, and is louder than before.
Unfortunately we do not sell replacement parts for our sharpeners for safety reasons.
