Solid feel, advanced performer
I've been using these for a couple of weeks now, and what an advancement over the poor performers I bought last! These scissors are comfortable in the hand, important when making those critical thick product cuts, and slice right through the material fed to them. The handles are 2 materials, and I love how the inner material has a slightly softer, "tacky" feel to them. These scissors really inspire confidence, and I need all the help I can get there.

Great overall scissors
These offer everything you need for a set of basic overall scissors ... the handle is comfortable for both my smaller and my husbands larger hands, the blade is good length for most general usage, and very easily cuts through everything we've needed them for so far, including thick cardboard. I never noticed how frustrating my other scissors were for cutting tape until using these ... these are a dream, cut right through and don't get sticky!

Non Stick Scissor
What sold me on these scissors was non stick feature. I constantly get glue stuck on my current scissors when cutting double sided stick tape. Well, non on these. The westcott scissor cuts right thru like butter and no residue on either blade. Awesome !!!!
Grips were comfortable with my larger hands and fingers. The ease in which to use scissors was smooth. little effort to open/close for up close precise cutting.

" Cuts Like Butter "
Have cut thousands of adhesive backed gummed labels and return address labels from charitable organizations in the last three weeks without any sticky residue on the Westcott 8" Straight Titanium Bonded Non-Stick Scissors to slow down the process nor use of nail polish remover to unstick the blades. Such easy cutting ! ! !
I often chart and recognize positive behaviors of individual children with adhesive stickers on their work and classroom charts and recycle the pretty return address labels with cute graphics to motivate the children to count and pay attention to their accomplishments.
Needless to say, I am constantly on the lookout for and cutting the graphics off the self-stick labels and create a collection of multiple themed stickers for their good work and hard efforts. The converted stickers come in various sizes and sometimes require some creative cutting as the graphics may not be in a straight column so I may have to zigzag some of my cuts to obtain the graphics. I also create a larger return address label from the addressee portion of the donation portion of the labels sheet to use for larger envelopes and package mailings. The remaining addressee labels are used to save my hands from writer's cramps when filling out raffle stubs for charity events and placing on vendors tables when attending conferences.
Love how smoothly the scissors cut through the self-stick labels without interruption or destruction when sticky blades can peel the labels off the backing and make a mess of the task at hand. Highly recommend these for sticky adhesive tasks - you won't be sorry.

Amazing...
I got two pairs of these scissors; kept one and gave one to my wife.
She LOVES them! The coating on the blades allows them to cut through everything she has picked up, with nothing sticking to the blades.
I am using them in my home office and the slice through paper like butter. I open boxes with them and they are as sharp as the day I got them.
They are an OUTSTANDING product! Highly recommend!

So Comfortable!
The Westcott 8" Straight Titanium Bonded Non Stick Scissors are, by far, the most comfortable scissors I have ever owned. The grip is well-cushioned and fits perfectly in my hand. These scissors cut through material with ease and my hand never gets tired. The blades are sharp and never stick. Works on Almost Everything!
I use these fantastic scissors in many of my craft projects. If I need to cut cardboard or hard plastic, these scissors are easy to grip and cut very quickly. They are also great for cutting open packages. They don't get gummed up from sticky tape on boxes. I would recommend these to everyone who needs a good dependable pair of craft scissors!

Great Value!
I've had this two pack of scissors for a few weeks now and I love them! Great value, and they are nice and sharp. I have used them for opening packages and cutting contact paper without any sticky mess. They worked great for trimming drawer liners too. They are comfortable to use. Handy Scissors
Just got a 2-pack of WESTCOTT scissors. I first noticed the different look of the blades. They cut through a plastic package and tapes, with ease, leaving no residue on the blades. Though I am a righty, the comfortable handle design looks like it would be comfortable for a lefty, as well. Very satisfied with these scissors.

Sharp scissors
Received these to try out. Just had a big sewing event and put those in my bag just in case we needed extra scissors. I was so happy I did. We cut out over 100 hospice gowns and they actually did better than some that were brought marked fabric only. They stayed sharp and the handle styling was quite comfortable to use.

Heavy Duty
I was excited to use these on some tough material, first I tried cutting plastic. I like to open my shampoo or lotion bottles to get the last drop, this cut through like a breeze. I next had some boxes I wanted to cut down for shipping, super easy. I won't have to use my knife anymore. This is safer and quicker.

The Perfect Blade
A great multi-texture pair of scissors to have at home or in the workplace. Edge is sharp and blades are sturdy. The thumb grip is comfortable but the larger grip area is designed more for someone with a small to medium size hand. Someone who has a larger hand may find the grip area too tight or restricting.

The Westcott 8" Stick Sissors, I liked very much, very very sharp. Tried them on paper along with cutting open a bag.
Very comfortable as well, rubber type on the handles. These will be my go to sissors for cutting my weekly coupons. They aren't bulky either. I highly recommend these sissors.

Super sharp
These scissors are awesome. They are super sharp and cut great. The handles are easy on the hands . I like that the thumb side is nice and wide for larger hands and so is the fingers side of the handle. These are great and I don't think I will ever have to buy another pair of scissors again.

These are great for everything!
I was looking for shears that don't tarnish or rust. I love that these are titanium, and so far no problems at all. They cut a nice fine line, and I dont have to use a lot of pressure when cutting. This is great because I have arthritis in my hands. Great set, highly recommend.

Strong and cut threw anything!
So far I have used these to cut tape off a box, cut the box itself, plastic and paper. Everything has been a breeze and I love that the tape didn't stick to these. I keep them in my kitchen utensils jar so I can grab them easily for anything I need to cut in the kitchen.

Light weight and sharp
I really like these scissors because the holes are large enough for people with big fingers and thumbs. They feel durable and light weight and we’re pretty sharp right out of the package. They also cut very well and it’s easy to cut around corners or in a straight line!

A nice surprise!
Normally I prefer the bent handle scissors. However; I can honestly say these scissors work like a dream. They are easy to cut with, cut through sticky/gummy stuff without reprocutions or sticking and are well balanced in my hand. I would recommend these to others.

Gets the job done.
I use these for many things from cutting paper or string in the house to snipping back some plants outside, they cut really well. Only complaint is they don’t feel as comfortable in the hand as I’d like. Could be cause I’m left handed though.

Easy to use
I love these scissors.....I teach kindergarten therefore I do a lot of cutting to prepare items in advance. I used these scissors to cut laminated items out....The scissors are still sharp and cuts without leaving a jagged edge.

I really wanted to like these scissors - the ergonomics looked great. However, I could not get all my fingers in the grip, which made it difficult to cut. They do keep their sharpness even after cutting thru sequined fabric.

these are a nice set of scissors. they are not heavy and are easy to hold.they were a little stiff at first, but after a few uses, are much easier to work with. I keep them in my kitchen to cut plastic packages of meats etc.

Smooth Cutting
Smooth cutting, I have used the scissors on cardboard, vynil and a thick rubber gasket material. It glides through the vynil and leaves a smooth edge on the thick rubber. No sticking. Would reccomend for all around use.

Sharp and stays clean
These scissors are exactly what I want for cutting anything that would normally leave residue.
EXCELLENT for giftwrapping. Gummed up blades are no longer a worry. They are also comfortable. Definitely worth buying.

Are the 8” titanium non-stick scissors food safe?
All stainless steel, Titanium Bonded, and Titanium Non-stick Westcott scissors are food safe.
Our scissors are made from the medical-grade 420 alloy family, dictating them safe for use with food. Acme United has done extensive testing to assure this standard for our scissors.

Packaging says “set blade tension.” What does this mean and how is it done.
The blade tension may be adjusted by tightening or loosing the screw on the back of the scissors with a Philips head screwdriver.
