Easy to use
These are a great step up from the kids scissors ... the bigger handles are light and easy to use with either hand, and the long strong blades do a great job on heavy duty paper and cardboard, and pretty good job on thicker things like poster and foam boards (although requires a bit more pressure to cut through, as you would imagine). We use these mostly for art projects and crafting, so I feel they will hold up well to usage, although the 10year warranty is a nice add-on.

Basic 7" scissors
I would say these are good general scissors that I would leave around the house for family members to use, I would say 10+ in age to use, so middle school/high school students based on the description of "students". Great handles and sturdy, all around scissor. I haven't tested other than paper and opening up plastic bags and they do the job in the kitchen area for me.

Westcott's 2 pak stainless steel scissor are the great for either home or school projects. Each pair cut straight every time. SS blades even better if you are in a saltwater environment due to the corrosion resistant blades. Scissors are lightweight and easily used by left or right handed person. Each pair has a 10 year warranty.

Great 10 Year Warranty
These student scissors are well made and will last through the middle school and high school years for projects needed at school with a 10 year warranty. They are a good fit for teens and adults alike. They can be used on craft projects at home as well so students can use all year round. I recommend these to all students.

Great for classroom use.
I used the Westcott 7" student scissors in a classroom with middle school students working on a poster project. The scissors did a great job in cutting paper and poster board. They are lightweight and comfortable to use and are a perfect fit for classroom project.s

Perfect scissors for older students!
These scissors are the perfect size for older kids! And they are super sharp, so you don't have to sacrifice performance for size. They are sturdy and you can tell when you pick them up that they are made really well. I would highly recommend these!

Great Scissors for young adults!
These scissors are a great transition from child scissors to middle school aged users. Sharper and with comfortable grips but not too large for smaller hands. They cut with precision and are light weight and comfortable.

To whom this may concern, I am wondering if there is a way to sharpen the blades on your scissors?
All of our scissors are designed to be sharpened when dull- for example a knife & scissor sharpener can be used to sharpen the blades. Another option is to use a local sharpening service for blades.
