Squishy does the job!
These kid's scisscors are really fun! I got the lime green one and used it on a project with one of my co-worker's kids. The handle was really nice and comfortable due to the jelly handle. I was initially afraid the handle wouldn't be sturdy enough due to the material, but it held up really well and surpassed my expectations when we were cutting through cardstock and construction paper. The jelly handle actually helped with not hurting the hand too much when cutting through the thicker paper. Definitely a fun and useful scissor to have in a kid's crafting tool box. :-)

Super Comfortable To Hold!
The Westcott Jellies are a 5" Kids Scissor with a pointed tip. They come in a variety of colors. The handles are a squishy gel like material that makes holding then extremely comfortable. Coming from a Kindergarten teacher friend these are absolutely perfect for little hands and fingers that get fatigued easily using a motor skill they aren't use to. I highly recommend these scissors for all the littles learning how to cut and create things! I'd like to see some Jellies in adult sized scissors too!

Soft and Jelly
Love these scissors! Sharp and pointy ( but not too pointy for kid scissors) the jelly handles make for such a comfortable grip. Texture soft with just a bit of stick so little fingers don’t slip but dirt doesn’t stick and make them grimy. I keep them in my bag for my needlepoint and other uses. Next chance I get I want to replace all my classroom scissors with these colorful scissors. I really think the soft grip will help my kindergarten students with the awkward struggles of learning how to cut.

Kids love these!
Perfect size for my kids (5 and 6.5), with the safer blunt end. My daughter LOVES the squishy grip and finds it easier to hold. My son usually picks using them over others, but doesn’t seem to mind either way. We just use them for basic paper and construction paper cutting, and haven’t tried anything much thicker. But these are designed for kids, not adults - so I wouldn’t judge them the same way as I would my crafting scissors!

Jellies are Fun
These scissors were a big hit at the crafting table with my 1st graders. One of the girls saw them immediately and reach for them…not knowing that they had squishy handles. After she got over how they felt, she finished cutting her flower. Her smile was adorable! As she reached to put them back in the caddy another student immediately took them out. The conversation at the table was all about the new scissors. They loved them.

Granddaughter loves them! Child friendly.
The Jelllies scissors are child friendly! I let my granddaughter open the package and her excitement to see the pink scissors were priceless. She went right to work crafting with them and talking about how comfortable they were. They were a perfect size for her 5 year old hands, were easy to cut with and I enjoyed listening to her "oohing and aahing" when she cut the paper.

Squishy Grips - A Tactile Experience
These scissors have a squishy grip which is great for the child who appreciates or needs that tactile experience. Some of the students in my classroom did not like the texture of the grip because they have tactile sensitivity. They cut great but the handles make it a little harder to clean. Some students wanted to pick at the rubbery grips.

Never a Dull Moment
As a teacher, I am always looking for porducts that meets the needs of my students and myself. These scissors check all the right boxes. The soft handles with the rounded edges make me less stressed about any injuries and the kids loved the colors. The fact that the scissors work the way they are supposed to makes me love them even more
