Last pair of scissors you will need to buy!
When I received these scissors, I immediately tried it out on the packaging they came in. The scissors cut smoothly through the plastic and carton without a lot of effort. I then tried it on the thick carton of the shipping box and again as smooth as slicing through soft butter. Next, I went to my duck tape roll to see if any of the annoying sticky residue would stay on it and to my delight hardly any residue remained (except for a little bit on the sharp cutting edge). I am impressed with these scissors and can definitely see them as the last pair of scissors I will ever need to buy. They also felt comfortable in my hand as a left-hand user.

Comfort Grip Smooth moves 2 pack
I made sure to utilize over a week period in what I would normally use scissors for including day to day and crafting. The scissors are very smooth, and don't require force when cutting. The curvature of the handles and the grip are perfect for my hands. The end isn't pointed so no worrying on nicking or dulling by placing down in a container with handles up to grab. I feel the precision is there on these scissors and cut thru paper, plastic and cloth seamlessly. I like that they come in a duo pack as well as I usually replace scissors more than one pair at a time; as I like scissors to be allocated towards certain things (ie sewing scissors vs paper scissors).

Super Scissors
As a teacher, a good pair of scissors is vital to my daily school activities. When scissors get "gummy" the first time you cut through tape, glue, or glue dots, they are basically useless. No one want to have to keep cleaning the scissors to get a project done. These scissors are fantastic. Not only did they cut through any adhesive I threw at them, they were comfortable. So many teacher jobs require copious cutting, so I tried these out on a big lamination trimming job. Usually my fingers give out about halfway through, but these scissors left my hands feeling great all the way to the end.

Westcott 8" Straight Titanium Bonded Non Stick Sci
Nice quality scissor set. Soft easy to grip handles. I like that they are also coated to resist adhesives. That is one of my pet peeves. They cut nicely. They were a little stiff using them at first but nothing a little use or oil would not fix. Overall they are a product I will continue to use and recommend. I also like the lifetime warranty that comes with them.

No More Sticky Scissors
I have finally found the perfect pair of scissors. Every pair of scissors that I have ever owned will not allow me to cut up Duct Tape without getting stuck to my scissors. These don't! I'm so excited. I put different colors of Duct Tape on the tops of my first grader's pencils so they which pencils are theirs. Using these scissors I have had absolutely no problems with it not cutting through because of the stickiness. I''m definitely sold on these Non-Stick Westcott Scissors!!!

Excellent product!!
Super sharp and light. Comfortable on the hand with the soft handles. I cut everything I could find to 'put them to the test'. They passed with flying colors on everything!!...All kinds of paper, cloths (even Levi), wire, cardboard, duct tape, bamboo skews, dog/cat food bag corners (ya know, when that 'pull string' doesn't work) and it cut right thru all 4 layers of corner 'bag stuff'.
I wish I had a pair for every room in the house!! Have already recommended them to friends...and will tell all!! Love 'em, Love 'em!! Thank you for the privilege of 'testing' thses!!

Great Non Stick Scissors!
I received these scissors recently to try and they are absolutely wonderful. I do a lot of crafting and these scissors are tremendously helpful. They don't stick to any of the materials I have used...even some that had adhesive, gummy backings. So far, they have been very reliable. They are sharp. They cut evenly without hesitation. They have an easy grip so your hand does not get tired, stiff or painful. You don't need to use a lot of effort-as they glide well with every material I have used thus far. When I need more, or a replacement-I WILL be certain to look for these. They are titanium bonded...so, I am hoping that they last for quite some time! If you do a lot of cutting for crafts, sewing, etc. I highly recommend trying these. I am sure you won't be disappointed. They are a very good, useful product!

Does what it says!
I work in a library and I often trim book tape and cut labels down to size. I've been using these for about a week, and so far, the "non stick" is true. They cut easily through heavy-duty book tape without any visible residue left. They are comfortable to hold, although the wider opening for the 4 fingers is a tiny bit snug (but I do have large hands). They are a nice size for detail work, and the blade is super sharp. Very pleased with the performance.

Are the 8” titanium non-stick scissors food safe?
All stainless steel, Titanium Bonded, and Titanium Non-stick Westcott scissors are food safe.
Our scissors are made from the medical-grade 420 alloy family, dictating them safe for use with food. Acme United has done extensive testing to assure this standard for our scissors.

We do not recommend sharpening these scissors as it will strip the coating.

I had 2 pair of your Westcott ultra smooth scissors and each one the hanger breaks(where you put your thumb come apart), I on a fix income and I can't buy new scissors, I like you scissors, that the reason I got them.

Packaging says “set blade tension.” What does this mean and how is it done.
The blade tension may be adjusted by tightening or loosing the screw on the back of the scissors with a Philips head screwdriver.
