Not your typical kids' scissors!
Wow. Westcott impresses with these kids scissors. We are a family of crafters and DIY-ers and all my kids started getting in on the fun at a very young age. Most kids scissors are flimsy and not very efficient at cutting. Have you tried cutting with your average blunt kid scissor? (It's no wonder kids get discouraged.) These scissors, though, are solid, sharp and according to my granddaughter, "fit perfect!" The shape of the handle is so much more comfortable than traditional kid scissors. And the best part is she can cut efficiently with these blunt scissors as easily as I can with mine. I'm so glad that Westcott made a product for kids that's as good as the adult size.

Great kids scissors
Perfect for little hands and basic cutting needs for light crafts (like paper and fabric). These are real scissors with decent cutting blades, but the tip is rounded so no accidentally poking fingers with sharp ends and getting hurt. Didn't cut through thicker cardboard or plastic, but as kids scissors, I'm not sure that's an expected usage.

Perfect classroom pack!
The Westcott 5" Blunt Kids Value Scissors are a great value and a great price. I used them for Sunday School this morning with my young students and they were easy for them to use and didn't hurt their hands. The multi-colors made it easy for each child to keep track of their own pair and the bright colors were enjoyed.

Scissors for Kids
Little scissors for little kids. Perfect for the small hands. I found opening blade slight difficult. Might be a tad hard for the little ones to open. Blades appear to be well made stainless steel. Grip is made of hard plastic. Cutting paper is extremely easy, card board was just a bit more difficult but doable.

Sturdy and cuts well!
These scissors are perfect for little hands and fit well for either right- or left-handed people. They cut well through several layers of paper and allow for great maneuverability to cut out more detailed pictures. Haven't had them for long, but they look sturdy and able to hold up to some tough use.

You cant go wrong with Westcott. Great scissors perfect for my kids smaller hands. I love the blunt end for safety but I also like the fact that they ACTUALLY cut. A lot of other kid scissors are safe but useless. My kids liked all the different colors to choose from as well :)

Great Scissors For The Kids
My kids love these scissors. They use them all the time. They fit their hands perfectly and are very sturdy. They are reasonably priced and getting the six pack makes sense, for my family, because my kids lose things constantly. Definitely recommend.

Handy Kids Scissor Pack
The Westcott 6 pack of scissors For Kids is a handy addition to the classroom. I like the comfortable fit and colorful handles. I would have liked a slight reworking of the package so it could be hung on the wall for easy access by students.

I wanted to check on whether the scissors I purchased from Amazon are for right and left hands. The one I ordered has Item No. = 16454 but the package does not say for right and left hand. The code on blade I received is GS1F vs WF5F on Amazon.
