A Must Have !
Sooooo very happy with the 18" length ruler with cork base ! ! ! It's a must have tool for any crafter in their tool box. Adaptable to most crafting size papers and straight edge to roll rotary cutter next to it without worrying about chipping the edges of the ruler. Perfect size for most standard letter, legal and ledger size papers of most office weights and heavier weights, too. Easy to read markings on ruler make it versatile to make accurate cuts and measurements. Can't believe I didn't get this sooner.
Hope to keep it for a very long time and share with fellow crafters and students.

Great Ruler!
This is the second stainless steel Wescott Ruler i have owned. I still have my original one from many years ago. I use it for everything around the house. The new one is going in my workshop so I don't have to keep stealing the one from the house. The metal edge is perfect for making straight lines for making my cuts. This ruler will probably be the last ruler I ever buy (unless I lose it somehow).

Stainless steel makes straight edges a snap.
In my job I do a bit of drafting. wooden and Plastic rules just do not hold up to constant use. The get chips or bends in the metal guide. That make work look unprofessional. This stainless steel one has held up fantastically. The cork backing keeps it from sliding while trying to use. And it’s sturdy enough where I can tell it will stand up to years of use.

Great Length
Have a typical 12" wooden ruler already but it was either too short or I kept cutting into the wood with straight edge blade. This is both longer and not susceptible to those cut ins. I have since learned wife had a stainless ruler but it was only 15" and she had been complaining to herself about needing one that was longer.

Sturdy ruler!
Great ruler to use for cutting straight lines with a utility knife. The metal edge keeps the ruler from being damaged by a utility knife while the cork backing ensures that the ruler doesn't slip by accident while using the ruler. It has both cm and inch measurements.

Love the Ruler!
This is now my favorite ruler. The 18" is a better use in my day to day world than a 12". This ruler is flexible so you don't have to worry about it snapping when accidentally maneuvering. The cork type backing also makes it so that the ruler does not slide.

Very durable
Been using this bad boy for a long time for various applications. When I draw, cut paper, cut leather, or even wood burn its my go to ruler. I love the cork backing, doesn’t mar my surfaces or leaving funky residue. Metal is durable and doesn’t ding easy.

Durable and flexible.
This metal ruler has both inches and centimeters on it. It has a cork backing to protect surfaces and is flexible if you need a little bend for whatever reason. There's a hole on one end if you want to hang it. This ruler should last a lifetime!
