But finding where to put the battery was a headache. Glad i decided to look on the website before taking it back. Suggestion: stamp the words "Push Here" near the battery compartment.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Pencil from Battery Instructions Needed A simple diagram on the package for battery location would save alot of time and frustration. Another simple fix would be to print the words "pull down here" with a picture of a battery (great suggestion by the previous reviewer). We were about to get the screwdriver out to take the thing apart. Thank goodness for google!

I thought I was going to lose my mind! PLEASE, in the name of all that is good in this world, put the words "PULL DOWN" on the back section, or add instructions on the package.

Once we did, it worked well and got the pencils nice and sharp. I only gave 4 stars, as there should be some kind of instructions on how to install batteries and/or operate the machine.
