Great Sharp Trimmer!

Does the Item no.17572 come with one sharp blade and one dull blade?
This product comes with one cutting blade and one scoring blade (will mark but not cut the material)

How do you use the scoring blade that comes with the trimmer
The scoring blade is used to mark where you are going to make your cut. You slide it along the material at the desired measurement.

I know It is my fault, but I can't get the Westcott titanium to cut at the measurements I set ,example 5 1/2inches from 8 1/2 Cardstock. my goal is to cut down the middle of page giving me two even pieces. what am I doing wrong.

If you want half of a 8 ½ card stock then you would need to cut at 4 and ¼.
