I received this sharpener as a Christmas present purchased from Den Bosch in the Netherlands.I use a similar product from a German brand, but your product is just great!!! My old sharpener had a single cutter, and although it worked for me too, I can't compare them...I have never used a good pencil sharpener, and for me this is important because I am a professional artist, and I often use pencils, especially pastels and very soft 8-10 B. I can only congratulate you on the excellent work!!! I recommended you to my friends in Bulgaria, unfortunately I did not find an importer of your products in my country.

Rated 2 out of 5 by steveg from A bit disappointing I had high hopes for this pencil sharpener. I noticed it had dual cutters like in the old Boston KS model I loved so much. However after trying it out with at least 10 different pencils, they all came out with the point off center with the wood going all the way to the tip. The same pencils sharpened perfectly well in my other sharpeners. In order to use this one, I would need to manually trim off the extra wood with a knife. This one is going to end up on the shelf as a decoration.

Rated 1 out of 5 by ART101 from Off centre sharpening As with the other review, I have found the sharpener fails to sharpen evenly. Rather disappointed and will be returning this to the shop it came from. An expensive lesson since it has chewed through a number of pencils during troubleshooting.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Deeyon from Good and bad I purchased this sharpener hoping to get better service than I have from my battery ipoint orbit (very disappointed in that -don’t buy!). I’m a middle aged lady who wants to do adult colouring in. That’s it. Nothing fancy but I had bought lovely derwant pencil set and wanted a decent sharpener after a less than impressive experience with the battery driven iPoint Orbit (which I do not recommend for several reasons. Steer clear. First, I’m impressed with the fast sharpening and the shavings that this hand cranked gizmo does. I love the various pencil sizes accommodates too. The shavings are so fine that it takes ages to need emptying. So far so good. But emptying is a bit messy since the way it’s designed means that this unit, intended as it is to be fixed down, ends up dropping those fine shavings from its blades all over the desk as iltje chamber is removed or replaced. I’m also less than impressed with the clamp mechanism supplied which is just not fit for purpose. Upon winding the handle to sharpen pencils one by one, the whole unit quickly begins to loosen and move about hampering progress plus this could easily lead to damage should it come off and fall (given that it’s feebly clamped to the edge of a desk). I did try using thin rubber non slip matting looking for a solution hoping to provide some extra grip but this did not help. If you can bear to wreck your desk surface, perhaps screwing it in with the 4 supplied screws would be an option/solution if the base holds up on those but I am not about to start wrecking my beautiful furniture with holes. Furthermore there is no information anywhere about how to replace the blades in future when they have become blunted. This states that it is sold for light office use but it this is your situation I’d recommend that you try a different model particularly if you want solid stability & a secure fixing and also longevity in being able to change the blade rather than to dispose of the entire mostly plastic item some time down the road. A nice idea badly executed. . The antibacterial element appealed to me because I’m immune compromised
