Nice features for light duty trimmer!
This is the perfect trimmer for home craft jobs or for light duty school projects. It has two spring loaded cutters and the ruler/arm is liftable for easy paper loading. It can cut up to sheets of heavy paper and has angle markings for cutting 45, 60, 75 and 90 degree angles. It's very safe with no chance of getting cut. Great for home or for kids at school!

Good little multi purpose paper cutter
I've used this little personal little trimmer on copy paper, a few card stocks and vinyl/htv. It's a good little cutter, struggled with some of the thicker card stock; but overall it's a little workhorse. I enjoy the portability of the of the size to drag all over the house, crafting parties or scrap booking get together.

Lightweight Personal Trimmer
Have been looking forward to trying out this trimmer. Has been quite good at trimming labels I print for shipping as well as trimming ads I remove from magazines. It have proven to be quite the handy tool. My concern is how it will handle the test of time, will the materials that make it lite, be strong enough to last .

Perfect for Smaller Precision Straight Lines
I got this about 3 weeks ago...just in time for my Cub Scout Blue & Gold Celebration. We used it to make a collage of all the pictures from the activities that we did this past year. The trimmer was super easy to use and cut straight lines quickly. It definitely saved me time over cutting them out by hand with scissors.

Awesome product!
I purchased this trimmer a year ago to use in my jewelry business. I make my own jewelry cards and I needed a trimmer to make nice sharp cuts. I use 65lb paperweight cardstock and after a year of heavy use I am just now needing to replace my trimmer and I just discovered I can purchase replacement blades. Amazing!

Great trimmer
This is a nice compact version of a larger paper cutter / trimmer I have. I can keep this on the desk shelf readily available all the time. Vice having to get up and clear a space for the lager one. This one I love. It does all those little trim jobs that scissors just don't seem to get correct.

Great product!
I have avoided getting this type of device for a while because they usually take up a lot of space. this on is the perfect balance of size and function. It is easy to use and safer than others I've tried. My wife home schools our kids, and she has found many uses for it.

Had a great day of card making and this trimmer was so easy to use and gave me precise cuts. Great size to be at your side. Like the degree feature. Push button on blade is nice. Only wish ruler was easier to see. Print needs to be darker or even on top of guide.

Simple and Fine
For my purposes, this trimmer does a great job. I like its small size, taking no desk space as it fits easily into a drawer. I don't know how well it does for many sheets but I assume that buyers of this product do not have a huge volume of papers to cut.

For me, this is just a smaller version of the cutter I'm always using. I like this because it doesn't take up so much room. Its spring loaded blade system, for straight cuts. It has a lift arm, to place paper easier. I give this product a huge plus.

Great slim design
This is perfect for small cutting or trimming jobs in my classroom. This is great for small personal jobs. For larger jobs, I would take the extra time to go to the teacher’s lounge to use the big paper cutter. This is perfect for scrapbooking.

Seems like it would be flimsy, but it is a solid unit, and it has a 5 year warranty, which gives me more confidence that it will last, if they are willing to put that kind of warranty on their product. Cuts single sheets very well.

Easy to use.
This cutter was very easy to use and made clean cuts every time. Trimmed photos from my printer and even when trimming the narrowest piece the cut was crisp and clean. Easy to align and cuts exactly where the alignment marks are.

I love this!
I don't always need to make precision cuts on paper... But when i do i use Westcott. The blades have a safety system which is pretty great and the lines help you keep your cuts straight, definitely would recommend.

Not easy to use.
The blade is very sharp-that’s good.
But, there is a problem with being able to see the numbers. They are too dark and on the wrong side. There are also no numbers on the cutter board. That makes it difficult.

I'm having a hard time lining up the thing I want to cut - do you have a simple way to make sure it cuts in the proper place I'm trying to cut?

Can this trimmer be used to cut 100 lb paper?
This trimmer takes some force to push the blade through 100 lb paper but it does cut through it.
A guillotine may be a better choice if you will be frequently cutting 100 lb paper.

A scoring blade is not included with this trimmer. It comes with two cutting blades.

How do you figure out how to cut a piece of 11" × 8.5" paper in half?
We recommend measuring the paper and lightly drawing a straight line at the halfway point, then following that line when cutting.
